Valente Brothers

Pembroke Pines · Kids Program

Free Intro Class · Ages 3–15

Give your child the confidence to stand tall — anywhere.

Real-world self-defense taught the traditional way. Not a sport. Not a trophy chase. Just the skills, discipline, and calm your child needs — for the playground and for life.

No obligation · No pressure · Limited weekly spots

You've seen the change in your child.

Maybe they've come home quieter than usual. Maybe someone at school is picking on them. Maybe they just seem smaller than they used to — less sure of themselves.

You're not overreacting. You're paying attention. And you're right to want to do something about it now, before it gets bigger.

The good news: your child doesn't need to be tough. They need to feel safe. That's where real self-defense begins.

This isn't another sport class.

Valente Brothers teaches jiu-jitsu the way it was originally created — as self-defense. Here's what that looks like next to a typical sport gym.

Valente Brothers
Typical sport gym
Real-world self-defense scenarios
Competition rules and point scoring
Practical protection they can actually use
Trophies and medals
Discipline, respect, and mental toughness
Just physical technique
Traditional, structured instruction
Loud, gym-style, sport-first energy

A program built for how kids actually grow.

Every class blends confidence, discipline, focus, respect, and real self-defense skills — taught in the way that fits each age.

"The absolute pinnacle of self-defense schools in technique, cleanliness, respectful environment, and both child and adult development. The first free introduction class spoke volumes to me and provided a sharp contrast to previous martial arts schools."

"Absolutely love this place, the instructors are the best. Everyone is patient, caring, kind and fun. My kids look forward to attending twice a week. My husband also attends the adult classes. He goes every morning he's off, says he loves it. We also Love that we have found a place where the kids can thrive. In a short 3 years they have made life long friends and learned a skill that our whole family will benefit from."

"I've trained at a few places with varying results. The quality of instruction, attention to detail, family oriented environment and the focus on training hard while avoiding injury have been far superior to anywhere else that I've trained. I couldn't see myself training anywhere else."
